Ancient Tunnels, Lost City (Act 2)The Ancient Tunnels is an area that is well-known. It's honestly just a re-skin or re-use of Sewers layout D2R Ladder Items, which was previously under Lut Gholein. That's not bad since it only means the enemy concentration in the zone is exceptional. Furthermore the Ancient Tunnels contains enemies that do not have Cold injury or level immunity, even in Hell difficulty.

This makes it a sought-after place to farm, especially with Blizzard Sorceress build. After the dungeon randomly Unique Monsters are likely to appear alongside a sparkling treasure chest, which contains items for ending the game. It is important to carry Magic Find gear or compensate for the lack thereof by repeating the game several times.

Arcane Sanctuary (Act 2)To be crystal clear, the creatures in Arcane Sanctuary are too spread around to produce materials. Taking on the game's most challenging bosses is a better option to eliminate in order to obtain loot.

But after getting some method of Teleport (either that of the Sorceress ability or Enigma Runeword), there are Super Chests with amazing loot that doesn't require fighting D2R Ladder Items Buy. This Arcane Sanctuary is an ideal chest farming location for characters that aren't yet able to take out their adversaries one-on-one.
