The minimum and recommended system requirements for both the PC and Mac version of World of Warcraft's eighth expansion, mention that Classic gold a Solid State Drive (SSD) with at least 100GB of free space. Past expansions, such as World of Warcraft latest Battle for Azeroth expansion, did not mention an SSD as a system requirement. For reference, Battle for Azeroth requires an HDD (7200RPM) with 70GB of free space.
As with system needs, Blizzard does notice that system demands might change over time as a result of possible changes being forced to World of Warcraft.
Interestingly, while Blizzard specifically says an SSD is required to at least be able to play Shadowlands, World of Warcraft players are reporting the bet
A of Shadowlands runs fine with no eloquent State Drive. In the looks of this, Blizzard is only mentioning the usage of an SSD for quicker loading times. As such, players using older setups with no SSD drive will, of course, still have the ability to play the forthcoming Shadowlands expansion.

Even prior to the launch date of October 27, 2020 was revealed at Gamescom 2020, there was already a sense that World of Warcraft: Shadowlands was quickly approaching. Patch 9.0, that will bring together the pre-expansion event along together, you know, the growth itself, has been on the PTR (Public Test Realm) for nearly a month already, which means it will make its way to live servers any day now.
But at precisely the same time, the simple fact that Activision-Blizzard waited this long to announce the launch date meant I was somewhat worried that some of the bombastic expansion launches -- like that of this maligned Battle For Azeroth -- were something of the past. However, Blizzard just released the Bastion animated short, the first portion of the Afterlives series, which will see new episodes for all those Covenants at Shadowlands leading up to release.
And for anybody that has spent a lot of time with the game, and cheap wow gold classic more importantly, has paid some quantity of attention to the story, will find a lot to appreciate in this particular cinematic. Here, watch it today, because I will be spoiling the whole thing .
