In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 7 silhouette, the Jordan brand has released a special edition colorway called "Afrobeats." The Air Jordan 7 "affrobeats" pays homage to the affrobeats music genre. Affrobeats is an umbrella term 2021Shoes used to describe popular music from West Africa, often incorporating elements of a variety of styles, including Fuji and highlife, as well as American jazz, soul and funk influences. Focusing on the intersection of complex rhythms, percussion, and vocals, this type of music is a deeply multi-instrumental genre. The shoes are in Vaschetta Brown, Black, Cab and a dark harmonious color scheme. Most of the upper wears a two-tone tan upper featuring black and white detailing, as well as purple and yellow accents on the midsole. A geometric print stands out throughout the shoe. Following the women's Rubber Flash platform geta, Bottega Veneta has redesigned a simple, chunky men's platform geta. The Rubber Flash platform clogs have the same subtle cutout at the ankle as the mule, and are still 100% rubber, but don't have the thick heel. A seamless rubber outsole provides 2.8 inches (71 mm) of platform lift. Unlined, these thick-soled clogs are a versatile waterproof shoe that can be worn both now and in the summer.
