Do you want to know what the best Sorceress build in Diablo 2 Resurrection is? She is one of the few magic-based classes in Buy Diablo 2 Resurrected Items Resurrected, and she is capable of wielding fire, lightning, and ice-based magic to annihilate the demonic forces of hell. The Sorceress has a low health pool and is terrible at melee combat, but she more than makes up for it by having a large mana pool. However, if you ask us, her best build is the Frozen Orb build, which transforms her into an unstoppable chilling machine.
Don't be concerned if you're returning to {anchor} after a long break or if you've never played the classic PC game before. We've put together a {anchor} Resurrection beginner's guide to assist you on your journey. You, on the other hand, have most likely already completed the game or simply want the best possible build.
Activision Blizzard is facing a lawsuit filed in July by the state of California (which has since been expanded to include quality assurance and customer service contractors) alleging years of discrimination and harassment. Since then, CEO Bobby Kotick has criticized the company's initial response as "tone deaf," employees have staged a walkout, Blizzard president J Allen Brack has resigned, and the ABK Workers Alliance has called for changes at the company. It is still ongoing; you can keep up with the latest developments here. A separate unfair labor practice suit against the company, filed in September by a workers' union, accuses the company of "worker intimidation and union busting."
BUILDING A RESURRECTED SORCERESS 'FROZEN ORB' IN {anchor}.
The Frozen Orb build is primarily based on a single skill, that of the build's namesake. The goal here is to hurl Frozen Orbs to the ground while simultaneously shredding the area around them with Ice Bolts. Frozen Orb works in conjunction with Ice Bolt, which can increase the cold damage done by Frozen Orb by 2% per skill level. Of course, because enemies can be immune to cold, the build also includes a fail-safe so that your hireling can take out enemies on your behalf. On top of that, the Energy Shield skill increases your damage absorption, and Warmth increases your mana recovery.
The Frozen Orb build is particularly effective in PvP due to the large area of effect of the Frozen Orb spell and the slowdown effect. However, it is also useful for Magic Find runs because you can use the Frozen Orb to disintegrate large groups of enemies. This build has a wide variety of options for what you can use with it, so feel free to experiment and see what works best for you. For the time being, here's where you can store all of your statistics:
Frozen Orb statistics
The majority of the stats in this build should be devoted to vitality and energy. You only need enough strength to wield the equipment and enough dexterity to deflect enemy attacks. Put the majority of your remaining points into vitality, but because Energy Shield is your primary line of defense, it may be worthwhile to invest a similar number of points into energy.
SKILLS WITH FROZEN ORBS
Here is a list of all of the skills you'll need to level up for the {anchor} Resurrected Frozen Orb build:
Frozen Orb – 20 Ice Bolt – 20 Cold Mastery – 20 Frozen Armor – 1 Shiver Armor – 1 Chilling Armor – 1 Teleport – 1 Static Field – 1 Energy Shield – 20 Warmth – 10 (or as many as you can)
EQUIPMENT FOR FROSTED ORBS
Before we get started with the equipment loadout, there are a couple of things that we should cover first. For starters, a large number of the items have socketed components. Imbuing equipment with items such as gems or runes bestows a benefit on that item, which can increase the overall power of your build. Adding an item to a socket is simple: simply click on the gem or rune you wish to move, then place it on top of the item you wish to socket. You can also remove gems and runes from weapons using the {anchor} Resurrected Horadric Cube recipe, though doing so will destroy everything that is socketed to that item.
This build also includes rune words. In order to create them, you must place the runes into the item sockets in the order shown. For example, to give an item the rune word 'Call to Arms,' you must insert the Amn, Ral, Mal, and Ist runes into the item's sockets in the order listed above. This action grants the character who is using this item the buff associated with Call to Arms: the ability to cast Battle Orders even if they are not a Barbarian.
You may have noticed that some of the hireling's equipment has the Ethereal item flag on it. If an item is Ethereal, it grants a bonus to either damage or defense, depending on whether it is equipped on a weapon or armour. It also reduces any strength or dexterity requirements by ten points, and they are self-repairing. There are some drawbacks, such as the fact that if the Ethereal item breaks, it will remain broken. They also have half the durability of the regular version of the item and approximately 75% of the sale value.
Here is a list of all of the weapons and armor pieces you can use to complete the Frozen Orb build:
Weapon – The Oculus with the rune word "Call to Arms" (Amn, Ral, Mal, and Ist) on it.
Shield – Lifeless Wall (Grim Shield) with the rune word Splendor (Eth and Lum)
Helmet – Harlequin Crest (Shako) with the Rainbow Facet. When you die, Rainbow Facet casts Blizzard on you.
Armor: Archon Plate, Dusk Shroud, or Mage Plate. Whichever one you choose, make sure to fill the sockets with the Chains of Honor rune word (Dol, Um, Ber, and Ist).
Belt – Arachnid Mesh Rings – Ravenfrost and Stone of Jordan
Amulet – Mara's Kaleidoscope, or any amulet with a faster Cast Rate, or +3 cold skills
Gloves – Magefist, or if you're looking for a 125% faster cast rate, try a pair of Felfist gloves. Trang-Oul's Claws are a pair of claws that protrude from his body.
Boots – War Traveler (battle boots) with increased protection.
Charms – Life Charms, Cold Grand Charms, and Life Charms, Small
HIRE A FROZEN ORB
Your hireling's ability to survive large groups of enemies, especially those who are immune to cold spells, is critical to your success. The mercenary you can recruit in Act Two on Nightmare difficulty is your best bet for a hireling. You should provide the following items to this hireling:
Weapon – Ethereal Colossus Voluge (elite polearm) engraved with either the Insight rune word (Ral, Tir, Tal, and Sol) or the Infinity rune word (Ber, Mal, Ber, and Ist).
Armor – Ethereal armor adorned with the Fortitude rune word (El, Sol, Dol, and Lo).
Helm – Ethereal Andarel's Visage (Demonhead) with a Ral rune
The Colossus Voluge is primarily at this location to fill the four rune slots for the Insight rune word. Insight grants your hireling the Meditation perk, which provides bonus mana recovery for all members of the party. The Infinity rune word, on the other hand, gives your hireling a 50% chance to cast Chain Lightning whenever they kill an enemy. Both are excellent choices, but given your Sorceress's vulnerability to cold-resistant enemies, the Infinity rune word is our preferred option.
