One of the best answers to OSRS gold the annoying "Can you get 5k please?" "Need 5k” beggars that we often see on the Grand Exchange was, "No. You can be a Lumbridge tutor instead. Plus, Runescape doesn't require 5k. You want 5k. But that's a different story.

Personal note: I enjoyed the tutors with skills. Jagex should not have eliminated the Lumbridge tutors. But if someone prefers to learn by themselves it does not mean that they should not remove the Lumbridge mentors for players who want them.

The Runescape safe-area (Lumbridge Varrock Falador), has been reguarded by the new guards. This was ridiculous. Anyone under 60 must talk to the guards in order to be allowed to leave the "safe zone". Fine. For players levelled above 60, Jagex said that the new guards shouldn't cause too much of a disturbance.

But when you approach the guards your avatar slows down and then ceases. The guards let you through. Your avatar then slowly accelerates into a running pace. Guards should let you pass if you've got 60+ levels.

I don't mind if people disagree with my views. What is the point of slowing our speed and forcing us to slow down and then forcing ourselves to accelerate? Anyone who is a high-level player will realize that they're leaving the new safe area and should be aware of this i.e., don't add a delay that is 100.0 percent unnecessary. The delay can be an added annoyance and serves no purpose. Guards will also block you (another delay) even when you are in the safe zone.

Runescape can issue warnings that are appropriate (e.g. You are in danger! You're about to enter an area that has a monster of high levels! ), those can serve a useful purpose in getting the player's attention (the warnings are able to be toggled off). Players with level 60 or higher are not allowed to utilize the Runescape safe zone guards. They also serve as a new hindrance that is completely unnecessary for running.

I was fishing close to Musa Point (Karmja). A player approaches us and asks for food. He is trying to finish Dragon Slayer. A dockhand fished/cooked 22 lobsters on his behalf. While he was doing so, we asked his stats. His response was (approximately) level 40 attack 40 strength, 40 attack, 40 defense, low-level ranged and magic, 15 prayer. A rune scimitar as well as an amulet were his possessions. He also had buy RuneScape gold anti-dragonfire boots, a shield and rune platelegs.
