A + is a unique certification for entry-level hardware technicians. It is one of the most recognized certifications worldwide. It is intended for anyone who requires an internationally recognized credential as a competent computer professional.

 

How to obtain the CompTIA A + certification?

 

The A + certification is sponsored by CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association). To obtain certification, you must pass two tests: exam 220-801 and exam 220-802. Both tests must be passed in order to receive A + certification.

 

The study material required for the exam is:

 

  • PC with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8
  • Ground connection
  • Anti Static wrist strap (ESD bracelet or ground bracelet)
