Getting the most from your employees is critical to TBC Classic Gold financing a successful match, and that means amassing gold and lumber as efficiently as you can. Every faction begins with five employees. Right off the bat, then you will need three on gold, one on timber, and one for building. You will want to increase that amount to the maximum of five per gold mine whenever possible, and at least four on timber.
There are some differences between the factions you'll want to be aware of, too. Orcs and Humans are functionally the same, with employees manually chopping down trees and evaporating into gold mines to accumulate stone, then walking back the resources to your Hall construction. As such, you are going to need Halls as near gold mines as possible. If, for any reason, you have to construct one further than the minimum space, you'll want over the five workers to compensate for the lost time.
Night Elf workers, called Wisps, need to Entangle a Gold Mine to gather from it, which requires 60 minutes. Once built, Wisps can be'loaded' into the mine, amassing gold without needing to move. Being the environmental sort, they also don't destroy trees while collecting lumber, like the other factions. Pop a wisp on a shrub, and it'll float around collecting lumber for the rest of the game.
Much like Night Elf Wisps, Undead Acolytes stay on the mine and gather mechanically. At 100 seconds, building one is slower compared to the Entangled Gold Mine, but Undead Acolytes do not need to stay around in one spot to build, rather summoning a portal that brings their constructions into existence. When the portal is summoned, they're free to start other tasks.
Undead also differ in the other factions because they need to use their simplest combat unit -- Ghouls -- to collect lumber. They're also much more defensible, should your competitor target your workers.
Night Elf or Undead players may find their starting mine ready to use, won't need to be worried about Haunting or Entangling immediately, before, the first Gold Mine collapses. That's correct, Gold Mines don't last forever, so you're going to be seeking to expand quickly into the early mid-game. Locate another gold mine and start planning to clean the area and enlarge to another foundation. You also want to keep an eye for your competitor's expansions. If you've got two gold mines, and they've just got one, you are likely to be in a critical advantage.
To find out where your opponents are expanding too, though, you will need to devote a while on recon. Sending a beginning worker out to learn more about the map is a common tactic, but make sure you replace them fast to avoid missing out on prized early game tools. For later on, all factions have access to flying or invisible units that make for great scouts. Finding out early what type of force your competitors are building permits to buy WOW Classic Burning Crusade Gold construct an effective counter drive.
