The artist previously worked on PlayStation's Uncharted series however, it was for a reason, fans were able to draw a link. However, Kozlowsky and Retro Studios were engaged in developing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze which was released in late 2015. When the game's release date was announced on the market, a lot of Zelda fans criticized the game because they were hoping for something different. In a recent interview on the Kiwi Talkz podcast, Kozlowsky revealed how that rumor caused frustration for the development team.

"Sometimes it's frustrating because it causes false expectations. That's what I saw when we announced Tropical Freeze. It's true that everyone was like 'they're working on an Zelda game or they're developing the next Zelda game,' but then they said nope. We've announced Tropical Freeze and it looks amazing and is gorgeous and then people think "oh, it's another Donkey Kong.'

Then you find out that people are going on about the Neogaf show or something and you're thinking 'oh, okay, well, everyone believed we were playing something similar to a Zelda game. Then it's like there's no way that's what does our team.' So it's both funny at times. the situation, and sometimes it's annoying when it goes on for a time," said Kozlowsky.

Kozlowsky's words are a fascinating insight into the way rumors are spread and the ways in which it could affect the way a game is received. Although Tropical Freeze might not have been the game that fans had hoped to see revealed, it received strong critical reviews upon its launch. It's not easy to work hard on something only to have the internet react with disappointment based on inaccurate information. It's not possible to know the reaction of fans to announcing of Cheap D2R Ladder Items a game however hopefully, that experience taught some fans the importance of keeping their expectations in check!
