On 14 August 2021, an internet marketing executive wed a finance manager, inside a village church blessing than a summer garden reception within a stretch tent at, Crudwell, Wiltshire.

The day was simple, elegant, and merely a little bit stylish, with plentiful real flowers to enhance the inherent great thing about The Rectory.

"We wanted a venue that felt small, intimate but incredibly special – we wanted the sensation of a summer garden wedding in your own home. We fell deeply in love with The Rectory as soon as we saw it; it had been incredibly us and merely so relaxed and delightful. It's also near to both of our homes – my parents have been in Oxfordshire and Paz's mum is within Wiltshire."

"When searching for inspiration, I always found myself drawn towards the simplicity of Australian weddings and I desired to combine by using the traditional feel of the English garden wedding – something which felt simple but elegant and merely a little bit stylish."

The bride wore a stylish, minimalist column dress with shimmering sequins from East London.

"The bridal collection is rather small – precisely what I wanted as I didn't wish to feel overwhelmed, that is so easy to complete when wedding gown shopping. The styles were all elegant, easy, and modern but felt classic. The price point was perfect too, as again I didn't wish to spend thousands of pounds on the dress."

"My earrings were from – delicate gold hoops dotted with tiny freshwater pearls, inspired by bouquets of gypsophila. I never usually wear earrings but I wore my hair up so that as my dress was quite simple I think the outfit needed them."

I love the bridesmaid's look. They wore champagne bridesmaid dresses.

"I always knew I desired to wear a dress which was simple and classic, but with a twist. I desired to feel like myself on my small wedding day. The dress would be a simple column style covered with tiny white sequins. It felt special and different from anything I'd seen."

Paz wore a custom-fitted, dark navy suit with shoes along with a polka dot tie.

Paz and Rebecca first discovered each other throughout their school days, getting together during university.

"We both visited single-sex schools in Oxfordshire then I visited Birmingham University, which Paz attended after his gap year. We made contact because we'd a few mutual friends also it kind of just went after that. We've been together since and also got engaged in Byron Bay, Australia in November 2019. We were built with a bottle of wine before sunset at Wategos Beach when Paz got recorded on one knee around the sand. It would be a complete surprise as I'd always said I didn't want to obtain engaged on vacation but it had been perfect and thus memorable."

The flower girls wore cute, white, pintuck dresses.

The wedding breakfast occurred in the open-sided, stretch tent, with tables dressed with lots of seasonal English flowers by a florist.

"We wanted English flowers inside a pale pink and white palette and like anything else, nothing too fussy. Eleanor did a fantastic job. The Rectory is this type of beautiful venue that luckily we didn't need to complete much when it comes to décor. It was the center of summer so everything is in bloom and looked perfect."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"All the clichés are true – your day will fly by and also you really won't spot the small details or if anything goes completely wrong. Take time for you to spend time with your lover around the day. It's very easy to completely forget to complete this. Try and start your planning as soon as you can and don't leave an excessive amount until the last second as this will stress you out of trouble!"
