Between the years 2003 and 2006 Chevrolet created the Pioneer model with imperfect parts inside the instrument bunch. After some time the damaged parts, called stepper engines, will wear out causing sporadic development of the checks including the speedometer, tachometer, fuel measure, oil pressure check, water temp measure and volt check.
