Another injury issue worth keeping an eye on during the season's preseason includes 49ers rookie Tank Carradine and his ACL injury. Carradine seemed to be healing in a rapid manner leading to the draft, but what will he do to deal with the demands of a Madden NFL 24 training camp? A fit Carradine on the 49ers defense appears to be unfair, given that he has the ability to put his hands in the ground and then stand up to snare the quarterback. Carradine could have been a first-rounder had it not been because of his knee injury.
Tyler Bray, Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs
The issue of character has given a new significance for Madden NFL 24 squads following what happened in the past few offseasons. Tyler Bray went undrafted because of concerns about his maturity. But, he could have found the right spot. The new Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has proven to be a solid coach to players who have had trouble throughout his time with the team. Bray's physical abilities are awe-inspiring however, he must grow to be a better player before he can make his way onto the Chiefs roster. If he doesn't make it as the third quarterback of the team this will tell the character of his team.
Da'Rick Rogers, Wide Receiver, Buffalo Bills
Another amazing talent that went not drafted due to issues off the field includes wide receiver Da'Rick Rodgers. Rogers was kicked out of Tennessee because of not passing drug tests and arguing heads with the coaches. He's fast, big and has the ability to make plays after the catch, however the Bills don't have any stake in Rogers as an undrafted player. Therefore, the player will be walking the fine line and need to perform everything perfectly on the field in order to be a part of the team's roster.
